The religion of the Moss Men is polytheistic in nature. They
believe the six moons in the night sky to be the gods. Each of the
six islands in the Weeping Stones has a patron god, and the patron
god has their own temple on that island.
Priests travel from island to
island, singing songs and telling stories that have been handed
down through generations. The Moss Men are aware and suspicious of
magic.
Anyone with supposed magical
ability is exiled to the sixth island of the archipelago, whose
patron god is, unsurprisingly, the god of Shadow.
So far, the Moss Men have not made
contact with the Imperials of Fastheld, or the Halaghi.
