Bahamut is a Celestial Platinum Dragon (http://www.candlekeep.com/library/articles/bahamut.htm) who you may have seen before in either Dungeons and Dragons Lore, or in many editions of the Final Fantasy series, in which he often appears in the colour charcoal *and* platinum, just to be different, and stand up for racial equality and all that.

On Chiaroscuro (http://chia.jointhesaga.com), Bahamut spends most of his time dilligently working on the writing of descriptions for items that are often twice as long as most people's descriptions of their characters, and then spending hours adding them all to the system, and making the other Staffers look bad while doing so. He's the <Director> in charge of *all* of the Weapons and Armor you see on Chiaroscuro, along with the Combat Skills that go with them, and all of the flawless Combat Balancing that you see in effect that makes up Chiaroscuro's Ruleset, which is currently unnamed, but works well with FUDGE.

However, Combat Skills and Weapons and Armor aren't the only thing he does around here. He's also the Dragon behind: The Chiaroscuro Website, the Emperor's Blades Website, the OtherSpace Website, Cloaks, Corsets, Quivers, Containers, the Imperial Horsemen, a lot of Emperor's Blades administration, a whole heap of art and design stuff, general Burnination (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=burnination&f=1), the Chiaroscuro Chronology, Slippers, a horde of Jewelry, and a multitude of others thing /on top of all this/ that he can't think of right now.

Unknown to Brody, Bahamut is also an Ambassador Plenipotentiary (http://www.anime-universe.com/outlawstar.html) of the super secret ideological organisation of ACROSS (http://www.anime-universe.com/excelsaga.html). Bahamut has been tasked with conquering this MUSH and quelling the corruption that goes with it; for conquering one MUSH instead of all of them is a reasonable plan that allows some leeway for setbacks. However, Brody is not aware of this - or at least, if he is, he doesn't seem to care much...
